Your Life and Style Bestie

Amrita Harbajan

I was born and raised in NYC. Growing up, I was always a fashionista, so, unsurprisingly, I became a Personal Stylist. As a teenager, I loved doing “makeovers” with my friends and constantly transformed my own look. Now as an adult, I help people improve their life and style. I also enjoy leveraging my professional skills in health and wellness to help my clients, friends, and family improve their lives inside and out.

In 2019, I started exploring personal growth like meditation, biofield tuning, and growth mindset practices. This inspired me to push myself out of my comfort zone to re-evaluate my goals. After reading many personal development books and engaging in personal improvement platforms like Mindvalley, I started to see positive changes in my thinking and lifestyle. Two of the most profound personal transformational practices I engaged in are Christie Marie Sheldon’s Unlimited Abundance and Regan Hillyer’s The Art of Manifesting.

Through this blog, I share these practices, hoping to inspire my readers to have a growth mindset and truly attain their dreams. My goal is to provide best-in-class information that is actionable, that my readers will use to manifest the life they truly want.

My Expertise

I have a Masters Degree from Columbia University in Health Education. My expertise includes Health Education, Wellness and Relapse Prevention, and Motivational Interviewing Counseling.

I started my career working with vulnerable populations such as inner-city youth and women and children living in shelters. As a Health Educator, I counseled and facilitated workshops on many topics including nutrition, wellness and risk reduction. I saw firsthand how meditation helped parents who experienced trauma, feel less stressed. I engaged patients in evidence-based wellness activities to improve their healthcare and mental health outcomes.

I am also a Certified Image Consultant, AICI, and am certified by The Fashion Institute of Technology.

I love motivating people wherever they are in life and helping them to see their full potential. I believe in the concept of Growth Mindset and that we all have the capacity to get better at whatever we want to improve in our lives.
